Based on the original 18th-century design by Johann Friedrich Eberlein, and identified by the incised model number 2697 alongside the underglaze blue crossed swords mark, the sculpture represents a high standard of European porcelain artistry. Such pieces carry significant historical weight, embodying an era of uncompromising craftsmanship and classical curation.

The sculptural composition incorporates highly detailed, hand-painted polychrome enamels and a rocaille-molded base anchored by fine gold gilding. Three classical female figures surround the white bull, delicately draped in intricately patterned textiles, including a striking pink mantle adorned with golden stars. Elaborate applied floral garlands cascade across the animals and figures, showcasing the meticulous sculpting techniques synonymous with Meissen artisans.

Specs
Maker/Artist: Meissen Porcelain Manufactory (J.F.
