When the company shifted to costume jewelry in the 1930s, it retained its fine jewelry techniques, resulting in pieces that possess an extraordinary, weighted luxury.

This spectacular piece captures the opulent Byzantine revival style that dominated high fashion in the late 20th century. A classic Maltese cross silhouette is rendered in a heavy gold-tone casting, meticulously painted with rich, jewel-toned navy blue and emerald green enamels. Brilliant, clear rhinestones trace the geometric lines of the cross and gather in a brilliant starburst motif at the center. Designed with versatility in mind, the reverse side includes both a standard rollover pin clasp and a hidden bale, allowing the piece to be suspended from a chain as a dramatic pendant.

Specs
• Maker/Artist: Ciner
• Year Made: Circa 1980s
• Materials: Gold-tone metal, enamel, glass rhinestones
• Dimensions: 1.5" H x 1.5" W x 0.5" D

Condition
This piece is in good vintage condition with all rhinestones intact.
