Hannegan’s work is held in prestigious collections, including the Washington State Arts Commission’s Public Art Collection. Known for his "fabric-texture" stoneware, Hannegan achieved this intricate surface by pressing textiles into wet clay, creating a linen-like canvas for his botanical studies. This specific vessel features hand-pressed leaf impressions layered with a sophisticated palette of pastel oxides—pinks, blues, and muted greens. The integration of a hand-bent rattan handle, secured through structural ceramic loops, demonstrates Hannegan's mastery of combining rigid stoneware with organic, flexible media.

Specifications
• Maker/Artist: Charles Hannegan
• Year Made: Circa 1980s–1990s
• Materials: Fabric-pressed stoneware, natural rattan handle
• Dimensions: 15.5" H x 7.5" W x 5.5" D

Condition
The pottery is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing to the glaze.
