Operating out of his studio in Ohio, Hudak became a staple of the American craft circuit, celebrated for his ability to make heavy stoneware appear fluid and alive. This set features a deep, high-gloss amethyst purple interior that transitions into a textured, sage-green "crackle" glaze on the exterior, mimicking the look of natural lichen or coral.

The collection includes a large serving bowl with Hudak's signature scrolled handles, a rare fluted-edge pie dish, and eight matching mugs. Each piece features the artist’s iconic "spiral" throw-mark at the base, a hallmark of his wheel-work. Hudak’s pieces are highly collectible not only for their striking aesthetic but for their substantial, heirloom-quality weight. Finding a matched set of this size in such a coveted colorway is a rare opportunity for the serious studio pottery enthusiast.

Condition Report
This set is in excellent vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs.
