This is a really well-made handmade quilt, finished in 2011 by Dee Barnett in Richland, Washington. The center features six panels of "redwork" embroidery in the classic Sunbonnet Sue style. It’s full of charm, showing characters doing things like flying kites and picking flowers, with the top panel reading, "Good times are best... when shared with friends."

The construction is clean and professional. It uses a nice mix of red and white cotton fabrics—polka dots and florals—that frame the embroidery with traditional pieced star borders. There’s a printed fabric label on the back that gives all the details on who made it and when.
