N.B. Rogers Silver Plate Co. operated in Danbury, Connecticut at the turn of the 20th century, manufacturing highly desirable vanity objects. This large-scale antique jewelry casket encapsulates the Art Nouveau movement with sweeping organic lines and an intricate, deeply cast repoussé floral motif. Unlike the more common miniature versions of this era, this substantial piece retains its original light blue ruched satin lining, a testament to its careful preservation. A sturdy hinge mechanism and four pronounced cabriole legs anchor the heavy silver-plated base, offering both stability and classical elegance.
