This is a classic piece of mid-century Italian pottery, likely produced in the 1960s. It features a hand-painted floral design with a central magenta flower and raised scrolling details. The bell has a nice weight to it and a clean two-tone glaze that shifts from a soft blue to a dusty rose pink at the ruffled base.
The interior is hand-marked with "740 / 223" and "ITALY," which is typical for artisanal export "Wares" from this era. It’s a solid, authentic example of Italian decorative ceramic work that would fit well in a vintage collection or as a standalone shelf piece.
