La Vie Parisienne (LVP), founded by Catherine Popesco, is celebrated for utilizing original early 20th-century French molds to create exquisite vintage-style jewelry. This miniature perfume bottle necklace is a highly collectible example of LVP's craftsmanship. The pendant consists of a miniature, square clear glass vial topped with a knurled screw cap that safely houses a delicate internal glass dauber. It is suspended from a distinctively long, antiqued silver-plated bar-link chain, finished with a hallmark tag reading "LVP France."
LVP's signature "old silver" finish is achieved through a unique electroplating process over a copper base, resulting in a rich, oxidized patina. With global precious metal spot prices soaring, the market for signed, vintage French jewelry with high-quality silver plating continues to command a premium. This piece represents a wearable, beautifully preserved artifact of Parisian jewelry design history.
